Chris Birthday Ride

Galveston Downwinder This Sunday Afternoon 10Apr22 for Chris Summer's Birthday. Forecast is calling for 4-5ft seas with 25-33mph winds from the south. Kite/surfboard, Kite/twintip (inside), Wingfoil. Kite size will be 8-10m call the shop or stop in to pick one up if you don't have this size.

Meet at Tipsy Turtle at 1pm

leave (carpool) at 1:30 for St Luis Pass to start

We will start around 2pm and ride back to the Tipsy Turtle

We will use the buddy system for the ride so you can team up with someone close to your riding level before the start. 4-5ft surf will be challenging on a twin tip so plan to stay on the inside near shore if inexperienced. Wingfoil will be experts only in those condition and more so if the winds sweep more SSE or SE. South winds should make for a nice angle downwind if the forecast holds.
